About Saint Matthew
Saint Matthew was one of the twelve Apostles and the author of the first Gospel. Once a tax collector, he left everything to follow Jesus. His Gospel emphasizes Christ as the fulfillment of the Old Testament and calls all to discipleship and mercy.
