About Saint Rita of Cascia
Saint Rita of Cascia (1381–1457) was an Italian wife, mother, widow, and later an Augustinian nun. Known as the Patroness of Impossible Causes, she lived a life of deep prayer, forgiveness, and devotion amidst great suffering. Her faith and perseverance continue to inspire those facing difficult trials.

Holy God, you gave Saint Rita of Cascia grace to love in the midst of hardship and to trust you in impossible situations. Through her intercession, grant us strength in our trials and hope in your saving love. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
