Meeting someone for the first time can be a frightening prospect and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Saint Joan of Arc a great one! You are among friends here.

Worship is at 12:15 PM every Sunday and we currently share worship space with Bayside Christian Church 2224 Greenwell Rd, VA Beach 23455.
 
What Can I Expect?
 
First of all, we are not great singers but we are learning! The parish is small but growing with a mixture of young families on up. Our Sunday worship is Catholic and Liturgical which means we follow ancient rituals of songs, prayers, responses, readings from Scripture, sermon, and Holy Communion. It may seem daunting at first but over time you will find a comfortable rhythm of prayer and response. We also provide a service booklet to guide you! Our worship service lasts about one hour.
 
Communion is celebrated every Sunday and two things set us apart here at Saint Joan of Arc, we teach the traditional understanding of what Communion is and we practice open Communion, welcoming all Christians, Catholic or not to the table. We offer First Communion classes for children who have not received Holy Communion before so they can learn about what they are receiving,  just ask.
 
What is the Culture Like at Saint Joan’s?
 
Sundays are a mix of joy and prayer! A time of renewal and you can dress casual or in your Sunday best just come as you are and expect to be welcomed as our guest!
