The mission of the United American Catholic Church
is to fulfill the Great Commission by calling people to discipleship,
activating in them the priesthood of all believers and growing strong and faithful clergy;
thus building the Reign of God on earth.
The United American Catholic Church is a Catholic denomination with valid Sacraments and Apostolic Succession going back to the Apostles.
As a denomination, the United American Catholic Church considers itself a missional church and, therefore, is less concerned about what happens at church and more concerned about what happens outside the church, outside the walls in the local community, and in the wider world.
The Church practices Sacramental justice and has opened the Seven Sacraments to all Christians, The Eucharist is open to all Christians, and we ordain male, female, single, and married candidates to the Diaconate, Priesthood, and the Episcopate.
The UACC is an Open, Affirming, and Caring Church. As a denomination, the Church openly welcomes our LGBTQ siblings to our masses, services, and ministries. The Church affirms the sacred worth of the individual, and we welcome all into the full life and ministry of our community of faith as laity, religious, and clergy. By our faith as Christians, we are called to be a people of welcome and care to all who have been traumatized or injured by religion, especially the LGBTQ community. We strive to offer a place of safety and healing.
